I’m so afraid of cobras. I’m a soldier, but not with cobras. Oh that cold shape of an hour glass. Predicts extinction of a life, Before a defensive mortal strike Executed at the speed of light.
Though their skin is soft as sofas, Comfort they offered to none so far. One wrong move and you will suffer Trip on them, you trip on your life I'd back off when they come in sight Forked tongue sign means run for life
I solemnly dread the sight of cobras, Unfairly gifted with deadly powers Even dragons have less dreadful auras Cobras at a blow will take a life A true demonic and biblical spite, On the mortality of earthly life
Though I’m damn afraid of cobras, I do have true respect for cobras. They will make us know our borders. Some are dark as the colour of night glittering as silver in the twilight Deserving honour like English nights
Trully I admire and love cobras. Supple in skin with agile powers. So unbeatable, yet so sober Though we think Armageddon is nigh, Even pets in danger tend to bite. Respect for nature is what is right.
Man has tried to extinguish cobras, In futile attempts of countless numbers Too bad they came to stay like corals. Then like Saul, we saw the light, We learnt to live with things we dislike. Wish not extinction on a form of life.
